Job description :

DevOps engineers are responsible for overseeing the automation, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines that facilitate software delivery. Their primary duties encompass the construction and upkeep of CI/CD pipelines, the management of infrastructure as code, the monitoring of system health, and collaboration with developers. Furthermore, they are tasked with configuration management, the implementation of logging and alerting systems, the maintenance of cloud infrastructure, and the resolution of issues. In addition, they play a crucial role in supporting disaster recovery efforts and ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Drive the adoption and implementation of GitOps principles using ArgoCD for managing Kubernetes deployments and infrastructure as code.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, Shell) for various DevOps tasks, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resource management (pods, services, deployments, etc.).
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system reliability.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure adhere to security standards and compliance requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Jenkins, including pipeline creation (Declarative Pipelines), plugin management, and job configuration.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based continuous delivery to Kubernetes.
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their relevant services (e.g., Rancher, EKS, Api Gateway, AWS KMS, Config Maps etc..
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Fluent bit, Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong experience with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in configuring and using SAST and DAST Tools like SonarQube, SNYK, Git Gaurdian, Burp Suite.
• Experience with Automation testing scripts in pipeline.
• Artifactory integrations with the , including JFrog Xray, for comprehensive security scanning, vulnerability detection, and policy enforcement.
• Familarity with Github Actions
