Dewatering Pump Mechanic

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Dewatering Pump Mechanic to handle inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of dewatering pumps used at construction and pipeline project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and overhaul of dewatering pumps.
• Diagnose mechanical faults in pump engines, impellers, sealing systems, and hoses.
• Conduct field service repairs at project sites when required.
• Maintain service logs, checklists, and maintenance reports.
• Follow all safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect and service diesel engines used for pump operation.
• Replace bearings, seals, hoses, and other pump components.
• Coordinate with the workshop and site teams for equipment deployment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a pump mechanic (preferably dewatering pumps).
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, centrifugal pumps, and suction/discharge systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues independently.
• Experience with Wellpoint, Grundfos, Tsurumi, Sykes, or similar brands is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure at project sites.
• Basic communication skills in English or Hindi/Urdu.
