Job Summary:

The Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Hospital Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing, branding, and business development initiatives to increase hospital visibility, patient footfall, corporate tie-ups, and service line growth. The role involves leading the marketing team, establishing partnerships, managing digital and offline campaigns, and ensuring overall revenue enhancement through effective market positioning.

Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with hospital objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive trends.
  • Formulate annual marketing plans, budgets, and promotional calendars.

2. Business Development:

  • Drive patient acquisition through corporate tie-ups, insurance companies, TPAs, and referral doctors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, corporates, and community leaders.
  • Initiate and oversee health camps, corporate wellness programs, and outreach activities.

3. Branding & Promotion:

  • Strengthen hospital brand image through media, events, and PR initiatives.
  • Oversee design and production of marketing materials (brochures, leaflets, signage, etc.).
  • Manage internal branding and ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.

4. Digital Marketing & Public Relations:

  • Supervise hospital website updates, SEO, and social media presence.
  • Coordinate online campaigns, Google Ads, and digital outreach strategies.
  • Handle press releases, media interactions, and reputation management.

5. Performance & Analytics:

  • Monitor marketing ROI and patient conversion rates.
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Analyze feedback and market data to improve marketing outcomes.

6. Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Lead and mentor marketing executives, field officers, and front-end coordinators.
  • Coordinate with clinical departments, operations, and administration to ensure cohesive marketing activities.
  • Conduct regular review meetings to evaluate campaign progress and performance.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of hospital business dynamics and healthcare market trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to drive measurable results.
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM systems.
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills.

Educational Qualification:

  • MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Hospital Administration, or Healthcare Management.
  • Additional certifications in Digital Marketing or Healthcare Business Development will be an advantage.
