DHA General Practitioner- Pediatrics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a DHA-licensed General Practitioner with Pediatrics experience to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services with a strong focus on child and adolescent care. The GP will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered medical care in compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations and UAE healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities:Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric and adult patients.
• Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including common childhood illnesses and infections.
• Conduct routine pediatric examinations, growth monitoring, and developmental assessments.
• Provide preventive care, including immunizations, health education, and wellness counseling.
• Diagnose and manage minor injuries, respiratory conditions, gastrointestinal issues, and dermatological conditions.
• Prescribe medications responsibly in accordance with DHA and UAE MOH regulations.
• Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic tests accurately.

Pediatric-Focused Responsibilities

• Monitor child growth parameters and developmental milestones.
• Counsel parents on nutrition, vaccination schedules, child safety, and preventive healthcare.
• Identify red flags in pediatric patients and refer to specialists when required.
• Manage pediatric emergencies and stabilize patients before referral if needed.

Administrative & Compliance

• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with DHA clinical guidelines, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education (CME).
• Coordinate care with nurses, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals.
