Diagnostic Automotive Technician — No Weekends, Fully Booked Shop

Lanier Auto Group is looking for a high-level Automotive Diagnostic Technician who takes pride in solving problems—not just replacing parts.

If you’re the technician other shops rely on for electrical issues, driveability concerns, and intermittent faults, this is the environment you’ve been looking for.

The Work

You’ll be focused on true diagnostic work, including:

  • Electrical diagnostics
  • Advanced drivability concerns & intermittent faults
  • Check engine light diagnostics (not guesswork)
  • System-level problem solving—not parts swapping

This is a busy, established operation with consistent workflow—no waiting around for hours.

Lanier Auto Group operates 4 established locations:

  • Killian Automotive (Canton)
  • Nichelson Auto Repair & Tire (Canton)
  • Lanier Auto Repair (Kennesaw)
  • KO Automotive (Cartersville)

Compensation

Who This Is For

  • 5+ years experience as an automotive technician
  • Strong diagnostic capability (electrical, drivability, complex issues)
  • Can independently test, verify, and solve—not just follow a parts list
  • Takes pride in doing the job right the first time

Who This Is NOT For

  • Entry-level or lube techs
  • Parts changers who rely on guesswork
  • Techs looking for light-duty/basic service work

Position Details

  • In-person (multiple locations available)

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
