Minimum Education and Experience
Candidate must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training in any of the following subspecialties: Neuroradiology, MSK or Body Imaging is desired. Demonstrated experience covering diagnostic radiology is acceptable.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The preferred candidate should have a full spectrum of diagnostic radiology skills including experience in one of the below: General Radiography, CT, MRI, Mammography and Nuclear Medicine.
Equipment Utilized
Knowledge of the following platforms will be required:

The Department of Radiology at NJMS Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey has 28 clinical faculty members and 18 residents who provide patient care for all of the major divisions of contemporary imaging. The department is responsible for diagnostic imaging at University Hospital, a tertiary care center as well as the Doctor’s Office Center and the Advanced Practice Imaging Center.
The Diagnostic Radiology component incorporates all the major divisions of contemporary imaging. The members of our attending staff are all fellowship trained board certified radiologists who provide instruction and perform clinical work in gastrointestinal and genitourinary imaging, chest, breast, bone, and pediatric radiology, as well as, in nuclear medicine, neuroimaging, interventional radiology and neurointerventional radiology.
the department is responsible for diagnostic imaging at University Hospital, the Doctors Office Center (DOC), our separate on-campus imaging facility (ADMC Building 5), which houses our PET/CT unit, and are in the process of developing relationships with other outside healthcare systems. At our various sites we utilize the full panoply of diagnostic imaging devices in all modalities including a newly introduced biplane angiography room, and state-of-the-art breast imaging equipment.
We are the oldest academic radiology program in the state and have a strong commitment to serving the needs of our Newark and expanded local community. The faculty have a deep understanding and appreciation for the unique needs of our population.
