Diesel / Field Mechanic – Midland, TX

Victory Fleet Service is seeking Diesel / Field Mechanics to support ongoing operations in the Midland area. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel trucks and heavy equipment used in oilfield and industrial operations.

Mechanics will work both in the field and at designated job sites, often independently, and must be comfortable troubleshooting issues and completing repairs with minimal supervision. Victory operates 24/7/365, and this role is critical to maintaining equipment uptime.

Duties

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Respond to field service calls and perform on-site repairs
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Follow all company and customer safety procedures
• Communicate with operations team regarding equipment status and repair needs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of diesel or heavy equipment mechanic experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Experience with hydraulics and/or electrical systems preferred
• Ability to work independently in a field environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Must provide own basic tools
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

Schedule

• 14 days on / 7 days off (hitch schedule)
• Overtime available based on workload
