Diesel Mechanic

inspect, maintain, and repair diesel engines and associated components in vehicles and equipment, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and scheduled servicing on diesel vehicles, trucks, buses, or machinery.
• Repair or replace engine parts such as fuel systems, pistons, turbochargers, timing belts, etc.
• Maintain and service brake systems, transmissions, cooling systems, and exhaust systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and mechanical testing equipment to identify issues.
• Ensure all repairs are completed on time and meet quality and safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of work done, materials used, and parts replaced.
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations during repair and maintenance work.
• Support other technicians or team members when required.
• Report major issues or unusual findings to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good working condition.
