Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical maintenance and repair works on petrol vehicles, including but not limited to:
- Replacing water pumps, fuel pumps, brake pads, brake shoes, discs, and drums
- Conducting oil changes, replacing oil and AC filters, and performing coolant checks
- Servicing engine components, timing belts/chains, and gasket heads
- Replacing gear components, clutch discs, clutch covers, and bearings
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines and equipment, including:
- Diesel generators, air compressors, tower lights
- Construction machinery such as skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders, telehandlers, and excavators
- Inspect and repair hydraulic systems used in various heavy equipment like HIAB, skid steer loaders, and telehandlers:
- Replace hydraulic hoses, valves, cylinders, seals, and pumps
- Monitor and maintain hydraulic oil levels, check for leaks, overheating, and pressure inconsistencies
- Diagnose and repair small power tools and construction equipment:
- Jackhammers, grinders, saws, water jet grinders, and other civil construction tools
- Perform basic auto electrical work, including:
- Replacing and maintaining headlamps, tail lamps, signal lights, beacon lights, and work lights on both light and heavy-duty vehicles
Requirements:
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in diesel/petrol engine repairs and maintenance
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and perform timely, practical repairs
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to work on site locations and under pressure
- Must have GCC work experience in the construction industry
- Possession of a valid Bahrain Driving License is mandatory
