Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team and ensure the optimal performance of our fleet and equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery, farm equipment, and industrial vehicles, maintaining their reliability and safety through expert diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, and air brake systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, alignment, and shocks & struts replacement.
• Repair and fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques.
• Inspect heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery for mechanical issues.
• Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components accurately.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all repairs performed.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks and perform vehicle maintenance to ensure safety standards are met.

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment operation and automotive diagnostics.
• Dealership experience or background working with Caterpillar equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, brake systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, soldering, and assembly of mechanical parts.
• Familiarity with farm machinery, industrial equipment, tractor-trailers, and service technician roles.
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
