Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic (PM Shift: 2 PM – 2 AM | $25–$32/hr)

We are looking for a high‑energy Diesel Mechanic to join our team on the PM shift (2:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
Pay Range: $25–$32 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
• Use electronic diagnostic systems to interpret failure codes and determine repairs
• Complete all required documentation using fleet maintenance software (repairs, parts usage, labor time)
• Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
• Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and corporate standards
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
• Shift: 2 PM – 2 AM (PM Shift)

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience directly related to diesel repair duties
• Must provide own personal tools
• Welding/fabrication experience is a significant plus
