Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in: routine truck maintenance, brake repair, tire service, and working with diesel engines. The ideal candidate will be eligible for fully paid health insurance and a one week paid vacation after one year of employment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on trucks.
- Repair and replace defective parts in vehicles and machinery
- Perform brake repairs, tire services, and suspension work
- Assemble and fabricate parts as needed
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify problems
- Solder and weld components when necessary (experience preferred but not required).
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role.
- Proficiency in brake repair, tire service, and maintenance.
- Certifications and past experience are highly preferred.
- Having your own tools and CDL is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with assembling and fabricating parts.
