Diesel Mechanic - Hydraulic Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot faults in engines, pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses
• Repair or replace defective parts such as injectors, seals, and filters
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Test machinery after repairs to ensure proper performance
• Maintain service records and report issues to supervisors
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and/or Hydraulics Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy machinery
• Ability to read technical drawings and service manuals
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
• Ability to work independently and in a team
