Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and hydraulic systems
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot faults in engines, pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses
- Repair or replace defective parts such as injectors, seals, and filters
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Test machinery after repairs to ensure proper performance
- Maintain service records and report issues to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and/or Hydraulics Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings and service manuals
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
- Ability to work independently and in a team
