Diesel Pump Mechanic

Job Purpose:

A Diesel Pump Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of diesel engines, particularly those used in machinery, and industrial equipment. Diesel Pump Mechanics are essential in industries such as transportation, agriculture, and construction, where diesel-powered machinery is prevalent.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel fuel injection systems to ensure optimal engine performance.
• Use specialized tools to conduct diagnostic tests and identify faulty components.
• Repair or replace components such as pumps and injectors to meet emission standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and system inspections.
• Maintain detailed and accurate service records for all work performed.
• Work on a variety of equipment, including heavy-duty trucks, agricultural machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Apply strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic fuel systems to address and resolve issues.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and evolving emission regulations..

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field
• Familiarity with project standards, safety requirements, and industry practices.
• Only Freelancer will be accepted
• Must be locally available in Qatar
• A holder of a valid QID for at least 3 months before the expiration
• Can join immediately
