Urgent Requirement! -- Petrol Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Petrol Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair petrol-powered vehicles. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with petrol engines, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in petrol engines and related components
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups
• Repair or replace worn or damaged parts such as spark plugs, belts, fuel pumps, and exhaust systems
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve engine issues
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding repairs and maintenance
• Test vehicles and systems to ensure repairs are effective
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols

Requirements:

• Trade qualification as a Petrol Mechanic or Automotive Technician (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with petrol-powered vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of petrol engine systems and vehicle diagnostics
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment
• Use of tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment
• If holding Qatar driver’s license (manual preferred), will be advantageous.
