Diesel Technician/Mechanic

```Duties```
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and fuel systems
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functioning

```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills:
- Soldering: Yes (Used for electrical connections)
- Hydraulics: Yes (Knowledge of hydraulic systems in vehicles)
- Assembly: Yes (Ability to assemble/disassemble vehicle components)
- Power tools: Yes (Experience using power tools for repairs)
- Customer service: Yes (Interacting with customers)
- Shocks/struts: Yes (Repairing or replacing suspension components)
- Vehicle maintenance: Yes (Performing routine maintenance tasks on vehicles)
- Service technician: Yes (Performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles)
- Welding: Yes (Ability to weld metal components if necessary)
- Schematics: Yes (Reading and interpreting technical diagrams for repairs)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
