Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, etc.
  • Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
  • Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.
  • Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
  • Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.

Qualifications:

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work some overtime when needed
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
  • Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses
  • 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
  • 5 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must possess proper tools

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT

  • High School education or equivalent
  • Certifications are a plus
  • Welding experience
  • CDL, a plus
  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Diesel Truck repair: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Texas Drivers License (Required)

  • Humble, TX 77338 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Humble, TX 77338: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
