Diesel Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck service and repair, demonstrating proficiency in various mechanical tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring trucks are safe and operational. Duties:

Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment.

Assemble and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.

Maintain accurate records of services performed on vehicles.

Fabricate parts when necessary to ensure proper functionality of vehicles.

Work with electrical systems, including wiring and battery replacements.

Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.

RequirementsMUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN TOOLSMUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE ON SERVICING TRUCKS

Proven experience as a Truck Mechanic or similar role.

Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and repair techniques.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Familiarity with hydraulic systems and suspension components.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

A valid driver's license is required.
