Dietary Aide

Assisted living facility in St. Clair Shores has an immediate opening for dietary aide:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Setting up tables for residents (water, coffee, juice, silverware)
• Serving dinner plates to Residents
• Sweeping and mopping dietary areas
• Dishwashing
• Wiping down tables and chairs
• Work together as a team with the Dining Services Director and Cooks
• Other job duties as needed

Great Candidate Qualifications

• Full-time position available
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as needed
• Flexibility to work different shifts preferred
• Shift times are between 6a-7p: 6am-2:30pm, 3p-7p, 10:30a-7p, 6:30a-7p
• Experience in dining services or similar environment preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, compassionate service
• Able to communicate and problem solve with team members as a mature, responsible individual
• The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum or 40lbs and the ability to move about the facility quickly and to be able to physically assist residents/or staff in the event of an emergency
• Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting
• Must posses a valid drivers license or state ID
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Reliability and punctuality required
