Dietary Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team in preparing and serving nutritious meals for our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in the dietary department, food industry, or similar settings.

This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified.

Duties:

- Prepare and cook meals following specific dietary requirements and recipes
- Ensure food is served at the correct temperature and in appropriate portions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus and special events
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role
- Knowledge of food production techniques and culinary skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills to meet meal schedules
- Experience working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is a plus
