Role : Dietitian Objective: Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to improve patient outcomes, manage chronic diseases, and support recovery through customized nutritional care plans. Core Responsibilities * Clinical Assessment: Evaluate patient nutritional status using anthropometric data, lab results, and medical history. * Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized nutrition intervention plans for patients (e.g., diabetic, renal, oncology, or ICU/critical care). * Education: Counsel patients and their families on therapeutic diets and post-discharge nutritional management. * Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside physicians, nurses, and speech therapists to coordinate enteral/parenteral nutrition and specialized feeding. * Menu Oversight: Ensure hospital meal services comply with prescribed dietary restrictions and food safety standards. Key Requirements * Clinical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and pharmacology-nutrient interactions. * Communication: Ability to simplify complex nutritional science for patients while maintaining professional clinical charting (ADIME/SOAP notes). * Adaptability: Capacity to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced clinical environment. Qualifications * Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition. * Credential: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) status and state licensure. * Experience: 1–2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
