Job Description
Tasks & Responsibilities:

Support in managing end-to-end VAT and Corporate Tax compliance for the Authority and its subsidiaries within the Free Zone framework.

Prepare VAT returns ensuring correct treatment of supplies and recovery of Input VAT.

Maintain VAT reconciliation between trial balance, ledgers, and FTA returns, ensuring audit readiness.

Ensure correct VAT treatment for intercompany, leasing, property, and service arrangements within Designated Zones.

Assist in Corporate Tax computations and filings in line with UAE CT Law and related Cabinet & Ministerial Decisions applicable to government-owned and free zone entities.

Coordinate Corporate Tax registration, group relief applications, and exempt entity classifications (where applicable).

Support in implementation of UAE E-Invoicing requirements, ensuring compliance for all entities under the Authority’s umbrella.

Manage FTA portal updates — ensuring entity details, bank accounts, and authorized signatories remain current.

Support in liaising with FTA, auditors, and external consultants on audits, refund claims, and clarifications.

Ensure correct VAT treatment for intercompany, leasing, property, and service arrangements within Designated Zones.

Maintain proper documentation and retention of records as per FTA and Federal Decree-Law requirements.

Monitor and interpret FTA Public Clarifications, Cabinet Decisions, and MOF guidelines, highlighting their impact on Authority operations.

Assist in automation and ERP integration for VAT/CT and support internal teams on e-invoicing readiness and testing.

Participate in training sessions and compliance reviews to strengthen tax governance across departments and subsidiaries
Qualifications
Skills & Qualification:

3–5 years of experience, ideally within Free Zones or government entities.

Strong understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws and FTA regulations

Experience in VAT returns, reconciliations, and FTA audits.

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
