Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist

THE ROLE

The Digital & Social Media Marketing Specialist owns DJC Law’s social media presence and organic content strategy across all platforms. You’ll build brand awareness, grow an engaged community of potential clients, and generate qualified personal injury leads through compelling, on-brand content and strategic community management.

You’ll manage all active social channels — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter) — while also supporting blog content, video production, and email marketing. You’ll partner closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, VP of Marketing, and attorneys to produce content that humanizes the firm and builds trust with people when they need us most.

This is a high-output, high-accountability role for someone who combines creative storytelling instincts with analytical discipline, is fluent in platform algorithms and trends, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where results are measured and celebrated.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Social Media Content Creation & Publishing

  • Own the daily creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across all platforms, maintaining a consistent cadence aligned with the content calendar
  • Create a diverse content mix: educational posts, case results, attorney spotlights, client testimonials, community involvement, firm culture, and trending content
  • Produce and edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimized for each platform’s algorithm and audience
  • Write compelling copy that drives engagement, educates potential clients on their rights, and motivates action

Community Engagement & Reputation Management

  • Monitor and respond to all comments, messages, and reviews across platforms — within 1 hour for client inquiries during business hours
  • Execute proactive engagement strategies: following, commenting, and engaging with local accounts, partner organizations, and community pages
  • Support Google Review generation and management, coordinating with Intake and Legal Operations
  • Monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and competitor activity; report trends and opportunities to leadership

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track and report on KPIs: follower growth, engagement rates, reach, impressions, video views, and click-through rates
  • Conduct content performance analysis to identify top-performing types, topics, formats, and posting times
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Implement platform-specific optimizations based on algorithm changes and audience behavior

Content Marketing & Distribution

  • Support blog content creation and publication, incorporating SEO best practices with the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Coordinate video production including attorney interviews, educational content, and firm event coverage
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns and newsletter content aligned with firm messaging
  • Repurpose and distribute content across platforms and formats to maximize reach per asset created

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 3+ years of hands-on social media management experience — legal, healthcare, or professional services strongly preferred REQUIRED
  • Demonstrated proficiency across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X — including native tools and scheduling platforms REQUIRED
  • Proven ability to produce and edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) from concept through post-production REQUIRED
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite and running paid social campaigns preferred
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms and audiences
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Working knowledge of legal advertising guidelines and compliance requirements
  • Highly organized — able to manage a high-volume content calendar and multiple simultaneous projects

Preferred

  • Experience in personal injury or plaintiff-side law firm marketing
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot), and CRM systems (Monday.com, Asana)
  • Graphic design proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools
  • Experience with reputation management platforms and Google Business Profile optimization
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) — a strong plus given our Texas markets
