Role/Department Summary: The Digital Channel Specialist will work closely with the Director of Donor Channels to guide the Trust’s email and text messaging programs. They ensure best practices are implemented across email communications, build email plans, and work with our in-house creative team to ensure the end products meet program goals.
Responsibilities:-
Develop email strategy and oversee execution across campaigns helping to ensure that the organization is employing best practices, conducting tests, and effectively communicating with stakeholders in email

Oversee emails built by vendor partners to ensure they meet organizational standards and as needed, build emails

Collaborate with cross-organizational teams to manage audience lists for email and text

Create text messaging plans for event recruitment and engagement, and broadcast messaging to support fundraising

Work in close collaboration with the Director of Donor Channels to develop email plans that are strategic and center the donor journey and expand our use of SMS

Work with the in-house creative team and external vendors to ensure email and text creative align with best practices

Assess performance and help stakeholders understand results and key learnings
Education Requirements:-
A Bachelor’s degree and a min of 3 years’ experience in marketing activities with focus on email marketing, social media, cause marketing or website development industries is required
Experience:-
Demonstrated experience with Blackbaud products, especially Luminate Online and Team Raiser, or similar email and CRM tools (Blackbaud)

Familiarity with broadcast text messaging tools like Hustle

Ability to independently manage work, communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders
