Position: Digital Content Creator & Editor
Department: Marketing & Communications Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Overview
Sonraj (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a skilled and imaginative Digital Content Creator to craft, refine, and enhance compelling visual content across all digital and social media platforms. This role requires someone with a sharp storytelling instinct, a refined sense of niche aesthetics, and strong technical proficiency in both mobile and desktop editing tools.
The selected candidate will play a key role in shaping the brand’s visual identity through videos, photos, and motion graphics that engage audiences and reflect Sonraj’s premium positioning. You’ll work closely with the marketing and creative teams to bring ideas to life, capturing the essence of the brand in every frame and ensuring consistency across channels.
Platforms include Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and the Group’s e-commerce websites, with a focus on creating content that attracts, informs, and inspires the digital audience.
Key Responsibilities Content Creation
● Develop and execute original, engaging short-form videos, reels, and stories tailored for each digital and social platform, ensuring every piece reflects the brand’s voice and luxury appeal.
● Capture high-quality photo and video content across product launches, lifestyle shoots, in-store moments, and events — bringing out the brand’s personality and attention to detail in every frame.
● Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm and storyboard content ideas that support campaign objectives and seasonal themes.
● Combine creativity with audience insights to produce content that feels authentic, drives engagement, and fosters a stronger emotional connection with the brand.
● Maintain consistency in tone, color, and storytelling across all content while staying agile with new trends, formats, and storytelling techniques.
● Work with in-store or product teams to capture live moments and highlight brand experiences authentically.
Editing & Post-Production
● Bring raw footage to life through thoughtful editing and visual storytelling using both desktop and mobile tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, CapCut, VN, Canva, and Snapseed.
● Refine product and lifestyle imagery with precise retouching, color correction, and tone adjustments to ensure every visual reflects Sonraj’s premium and polished aesthetic.
● Enhance content with captions, seamless transitions, sound design, and background music that complement the mood and reinforce the brand’s identity.
● Adapt and optimize content for each platform’s format, aspect ratio, and resolution, ensuring visual consistency and technical accuracy across all channels.
● Maintain a clear visual flow by balancing pacing, lighting, and motion, creating pieces that feel immersive and aligned with the brand’s storytelling style.
● Collaborate with the creative team to review, refine, and finalize content, ensuring every edit supports campaign goals and audience engagement.
Brand & Content Management
● Uphold and strengthen the brand’s luxury identity across every visual, ensuring each piece of content reflects Sonraj’s tone, quality, and attention to detail.
● Maintain a well-structured digital asset library by organizing photos, videos, and creative files across mobile devices, desktops, and cloud platforms for easy access and version control.
● Work closely with the marketing, design, and retail teams to plan, schedule, and align content with ongoing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal themes.
● Oversee the final publishing process by ensuring captions, hashtags, and post formats match the brand’s guidelines, voice, and audience expectations.
● Monitor published content for consistency, accuracy, and performance, making adjustments where needed to maintain visual harmony across all channels.
● Support the ongoing evolution of the brand’s creative direction by bringing ideas that enhance storytelling, improve engagement, and reflect emerging visual trends within the luxury space.
● Ensure all visuals, music, and third-party assets comply with copyright and brand usage policies.
Performance & Analytics
● Track and analyze how content performs across all digital platforms to understand what truly connects with the audience.
● Review engagement data regularly to identify patterns, top-performing formats, and areas needing refinement.
● Share practical insights and ideas with the marketing team to guide future creative direction.
● Continuously explore new social media trends, editing techniques, and storytelling approaches to keep the brand’s content current and engaging.
● Use performance feedback to evolve editing style, tone, and visual quality for stronger audience impact and retention.
Required Skills & Competencies
● Strong sense of storytelling with the ability to create visually engaging content that reflects luxury and sophistication.
● Skilled in both mobile and desktop editing using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, CapCut, VN, Canva, and Snapseed.
● Confident in using AI-powered tools for idea generation, image enhancement, and video editing to improve workflow and creativity.
● Deep understanding of social media platforms, their content formats, engagement patterns, and what drives audience interaction.
● Sharp eye for composition, typography, lighting, and color balance, ensuring every piece of content aligns with brand standards.
● Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
● Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with marketing, design, and production teams.
● Curious to stay ahead of digital trends, explore new editing techniques, and continuously refine creative approaches.
Preferred Background
● Bachelor’s degree in Media, Design, Film, Marketing, or a related field.
● Minimum 2 years of experience in content creation, editing, or digital marketing.
● Experience with luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or retail brands.
● Strong portfolio showing creativity, versatility, and technical skill across video and photo formats.
● Good understanding of social media trends, visual storytelling, and platform-specific content styles.

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
