Digital Content Creator (On-Camera + Video Production)

THE ROLE

The Heat Press Nation Marketing Department is looking for a confident, creative, and camera-ready Multimedia Content Creator to join our team.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives both in front of the camera and behind it. You will be responsible for creating engaging, educational, and conversion-driven content from start to finish, from ideation and filming to editing and publishing.

Our audience is made up of entrepreneurs and small business owners looking to start or grow their businesses. Because of this, we’re looking for someone who can teach, engage, and build trust as an on-camera personality, while also producing high-quality content that performs across both organic and paid channels.

This position will serve as a second face of the brand, working closely with our marketing team to create content that informs, inspires, and converts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Content Creation (End-to-End Ownership)

• Plan, film, and edit video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
• Appear regularly on camera as a host, educator, and product demonstrator
• Take ownership of your content from pre-production through filming, post-production, publishing, and cross-posting
• Create both short-form and long-form content optimized for engagement and performance

On-Camera & Educational Content

• Confidently present and explain products, workflows, and techniques
• Produce tutorial-style, project-based, and product-focused videos
• Create content around technologies such as: Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV), Sublimation, Direct-To-Film (DTF), Direct-To-Garment (DTG), UV DTF, White Toner printing

Marketing & Performance-Focused Content

• Create content used for both organic marketing and paid advertising
• Write and refine conversion-driven captions, hooks, and messaging
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, product launches, and promotions
• Contribute to creative briefs and execute content aligned with business goals

Production & Editing

• Set up and operate video, lighting, and audio equipment in our in-house studio
• Ability to operate a professional DSLR-style camera for video (we use Panasonic cameras)
• Edit content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut
• Design supporting visuals including: thumbnails, product photos, basic graphics and overlays, artwork used on apparel and hard goods featured in videos using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva

Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing team members
• Coordinate with internal teams while following creative briefs
• Participate in marketing meetings and collaborate with vendor marketing teams when needed
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to assist with workflow efficiency

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong on-camera presence with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently
• Experience creating content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to follow and execute creative briefs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative marketing environment
• Experience or familiarity apparel decoration technologies and workflows

BONUS / NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in garment decoration, printing, and e-commerce
• Experience managing or growing social media accounts
• Familiarity with content performance metrics and optimization
• Photography experience
• Experience creating conversion-focused or ad-driven content

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a portfolio or reel, on-camera content
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• Professional in appearance, attitude, and work ethic
• Detail-oriented with creative strong problem-solving skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to work full-time in-person at our Fullerton, CA office Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs unassisted over short distances
• Open to occasional travel for off-site filming
