SCHEDULE FOR OUR DIGITAL CONTENT DESIGNER:

The Digital Content Designer role is a full-time position with standard business hours.

YOUR ROLE AS A DIGITAL CONTENT DESIGNER:

As a Digital Content Designer, you will assume primary responsibility for the design and execution of digital content projects, including those related to the web, email, and intranet platforms. Your day will involve partnering with Category and Digital Marketers to visually communicate with customers and working with the e-commerce development team to implement new website and campaign design solutions. You will be expected to evolve and refine the aesthetic of the website and email marketing materials in alignment with the company's brand direction. Additionally, you will translate your designs into web code, considering browser compatibility, SEO best practices, and mobile responsiveness. Effective communication and collaboration with teammates and other departments will be integral to your daily activities as you manage multiple ongoing projects.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in web, interactive, or graphic design
• Experience advocating for content and user experience across technical and non-technical teams
• 0-4 years experience with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, WordPress, and MS Office
• Experience designing and developing responsive websites with Bootstrap or similar frameworks
• Knowledge of digital production processes and the ability to produce, optimize, and deliver web-ready files
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Advanced HTML and CSS skills
• Understanding of web standards, usability methods, browser compatibility, and website performance optimization
• Ability to maintain consistent branding and design systems across all web presences
• Knowledge of web best practices and UX principles
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple projects
• Ability to accept and incorporate constructive criticism
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and technical skill
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.

Understanding of JavaScript and jQuery implementation is a plus.
