Digital Content Manager - eCommerce

Job Summary

Oversee the creation, organization and maintenance of digital content in the for all Medline product divisions that are sold within digital commerce retail platforms (eg: Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, etc).

Deliver content to all customer channels ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objective; provides marketing support for retail accounts through promotional execution, ROI analysis, digital campaign management and assists with omni-channel initiatives.

Develop, lead, and execute eCommerce content strategies that deliver best-in-class consumer-facing content that drives conversion. Partner with marketing and graphics leads to ensure digital content is rich, informative, and on-brand.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team that merchandises digital content on retailers like Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Target.com and various other top eCommerce sites in the US.

  • Partner with internal retail marketers and product division leaders, along with Medline’s corporate marketing teams in crafting product assets that support PDPs, brand pages, digital campaigns, and promotions.

  • Oversee the timely syndication of assets with both internal and external syndication partners (eg: InRiver, Syndigo, Salsify).

  • Art direct creative for PDP, brand pages, banners, and marketing materials.

  • Partner with Marketing and Legal teams to ensure creative conforms to brand message and legal guidelines.

  • Oversee asset management supporting IP sensitive content ensuring proper release aligned to internal and external regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain digital asset catalog keeping detailed record of deliveries, audit corrections and support tickets.

  • Create and manage digital marketing calendar including NPD launches, base repush, KCPS, etc.

  • Brief and support required brand or product division team(s) with new launch campaign content to ensure A+ content is delivered.

  • Manage timelines for each projects (samples availability, shooting timings, retouching and assets delivery) to ensure commercial readiness is on track and deliveries are on target.

  • Identify key strategies and best practices to apply to our retail and institutional teams and support bringing a variety of creative deliverables to life for new launches as well as existing content refreshes.

  • Analyze performance metrics through external syndication provider, and A/B test to evaluate asset performance for performance marketing and merchandising initiatives.

  • Manage weekly audits with team to ensure robust syndication of digital content, EHC and paid reviews.

  • Troubleshoot with external partners to correct syndication or activation issues.

  • Deliver regular feedback and coaching to drive employee engagement and performance.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in a digital asset management role or equivalent.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Experience in working with retailer eCommerce platforms like Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Target.com, Kohls.com etc.

  • Experience with managing and optimizing SEO performance.

  • Previous experience managing direct reports.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (concentrating in Excel/PowerPoint) and Adobe.

  • Experience with tracking trends/performance through KPI reporting.

  • Experience with 3rd party syndication programs such as Syndigo, Whytespyder, Profitero, and Bazaarvoice.

  • Experience with Creative Suite (concentrating in Photoshop/Illustrator).

Preferred Job Requirements:

Work Experience

  • 5+ years in digital or creative agency with experience in managing and delivering digital content, preferably in a multi-brand and matrixed environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Project management and communication skills, especially working with multiple stakeholders.

  • Passionate learner who stays on top of E-commerce and Digital Marketing capabilities.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$96,200.00 - $144,560.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
