The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for writing high-quality content that tells the health system’s story across a wide range of multimedia channels such as multiple care-delivery websites, health and wellness blogs, marketing campaigns, and consumer-first digital products. Works closely and collaboratively with content team leaders to ensure a consistent voice and disciplined message are delivered in a creative, compelling and customizable way for all channels. Partners closely with the division’s Digital Experience team, serving as a digital content expert.
Major Responsibilities:

Serve as digital content expert while partnering closely with the Digital Experience team

Research, conduct interviews, write and edit content that’s optimized for organic and AI search (SEO & AEO) and user experience for organization’s 30+ websites, email marketing and other digital platforms including blog posts

Implement the enterprise-wide health and wellness content strategy

Create and edit content to support messaging maps, organization-wide content calendar and initiatives across the division

Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, tone of voice, and optimized for relevant communications channels

Maintain understanding of content channels and standards across the division, including brand, marketing, digital, social, media and public affairs

Assist with large website migrations, including auditing and optimizing existing content and creating new content.

Edit webpages in content management system
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Education Required:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or
-
Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations or related field.
Experience Required:
-
Typically requires 2 years of experience in Public Affairs, Public Relations, Communications. Experience producing high-quality content for wide range of platforms and channels in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment preferred.
