DIGITAL DESIGNER // CROSSROADS CHURCH
The Digital Designer creates compelling visual content that supports the mission and communication strategies of Crossroads Church. This role designs for a wide range of mediums including print, digital, web, and social media, while ensuring all work reflects the church’s brand identity. The designer collaborates with the Communications Lead, ministry leaders, and creative teams to deliver projects on time and with excellence. The Digital Designer also maintains up-to-date knowledge of design tools and industry trends, ensuring that Crossroads’ visual communication remains fresh, relevant, and effective.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Brand Production:

Design for a variety of projects including print materials, digital graphics, social media assets, promotional pieces, and environmental branding

Ideate and design message series packages, including graphics, print, and web

Collaborate with the Communications Lead to develop and refine the Crossroads Church brand
-
Ensure all promotional and marketing materials align with established brand identity and voice
-
Research and apply accessibility standards (color contrast, readability, formatting) to ensure inclusivity in design
-
Stay current with design trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve creative output
Collaboration and Communication

Maintain open communication with the Communications Lead, ministry leaders, and project stakeholders throughout the design process

Attend creative team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for campaigns and events

Provide design support for social media content and collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator
Administration and Workflow

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met

Organize and maintain design assets, templates, and project archives for easy access and reuse
-
Participate in staff and creative meetings as required

Carry out other duties as assigned by the Communications Lead
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS
Education & Experience: 4-year bachelor’s degree in related field or comparable experience in graphic design is required

Work Environment

Work is accomplished primarily indoors in an administrative environment
