Title: Digital Designer

Liberty Home Guard is the country’s fastest growing and best rated home warranty provider. We are looking for a Digital Designer to join our team and assist our Marketing team with our brand. As a Digital Designer, you will create high-performing ad creative for paid media campaigns (including display, social, and Connected TV), design intuitive user interfaces for our website and customer portals, and develop compelling marketing materials across print and digital channels. Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Design high-performing ad creative for paid digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Display Network, LinkedIn, and other digital channels, optimizing for click-through rates and conversions.
- Create compelling video and static creative for Connected TV (CTV) and OTT advertising platforms, ensuring designs meet technical specifications and capture attention in living room viewing environments.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop A/B testing strategies for ad creative, analyze performance metrics, and iterate designs based on data-driven insights.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for website pages, landing pages, and customer portal features, creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that prioritize user experience and conversion optimization.
- Ensure all ad creative meets platform-specific requirements and technical specifications (file sizes, dimensions, safe zones, etc.) for seamless deployment across advertising channels.
- Design eye-catching and impactful print marketing materials, including postcards, flyers, brochures, banners, and other promotional items.
- Create captivating digital designs for organic social media, email marketing campaigns, and website assets, maintaining brand consistency while tailoring creative for platform-specific best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including other department heads and senior management, to understand design requirements and objectives for marketing campaigns and other projects.
- Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate the desired message to the audience.
- Stay updated with current design trends and optimize designs for digital platforms to maximize user engagement.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience.
- Uphold an unwavering commitment to design excellence, meticulously reviewing designs for accuracy, aesthetics, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Occasionally assist the IT department by participating in quality assurance efforts, which may involve testing various applications and software solutions
- Assist with content for various social media platforms to ensure brand consistency such as creating and curating content intended for use on different social media platforms that align with our brand's identity and values.
- Predictable, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 3+ years of experience designing user interfaces for web and digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both visual design skills and understanding of UX principles.
- Proven experience designing ad creative for paid media campaigns with demonstrated results in improving CTR, conversion rates, or other performance metrics.
- Strong understanding of advertising platform requirements (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) and technical specifications for various ad formats.
- Experience creating video content for CTV/OTT platforms and understanding of living room viewing considerations (text size, safe zones, sound-off design).
- Demonstrated UI/UX design experience with portfolio examples showing website design, landing pages, or product interfaces with clear user flows and interaction design
- Proficiency with required design tools, including Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and a grasp of responsive design principles, is a plus.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, social media, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Exceptional project management capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Profound understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and video editing, adding a dynamic dimension to our visual communications, is a plus.
- Must possess the capability to contribute within a team while also being proficient at working autonomously.
- Demonstrated awareness of current design trends and best practices, both in print and digital contexts.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Keen attention to detail and a resolute commitment to delivering designs of exceptional quality.
- Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
Pay Rate: $26-$30 an hour
