Description:

The Digital Experience Developer is responsible for building and maintaining engaging, user-centered digital experiences that serve as the foundation of the Just 1 Ministry platform. This position combines technical expertise, UX/UI design, and no-code/low-code AI integration to create scalable digital systems that empower believers to confidently share their faith. The role is vital to advancing the ministry’s mission of equipping one billion Christians to boldly and effectively share the Gospel over the next decade.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Platform Migration & Development

  • Lead the migration of the Just 1 platform from Kajabi to a scalable, custom-built solution.
  • Build and maintain the primary digital platform with a focus on performance, accessibility, and user engagement.

No-Code/Low-Code AI Integration

  • Design and implement no-code/low-code systems that power AI-driven evangelism and discipleship tools.
  • Create intelligent workflows that personalize user journeys through training and engagement resources.

UX/UI Design & Optimization

  • Develop beautiful, intuitive, and conversion-optimized interfaces that inspire engagement and action.
  • Conduct ongoing user research, testing, and refinement to enhance experience and usability.
  • Establish and maintain a cohesive design system that scales across digital touchpoints.

Integration & Ecosystem Development

  • Build API integrations and automations that create seamless user experiences across partner platforms.
  • Ensure all digital tools work cohesively to advance ministry goals and user engagement.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Partner with ministry leadership to translate vision and mission into digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (content, training, outreach) to ensure technology supports ministry objectives.


Job-Related Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Media, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in web development, digital design, or UX/UI roles.
  • Proven experience with CMS platforms, front-end frameworks, and API integrations.
  • Job Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
  • Proficiency in modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive frameworks).
  • Experience with no-code/low-code tools (Webflow, Bubble, Zapier, Make, etc.).
  • Familiarity with AI tools, chatbots, and conversational interfaces.
  • Strong UX/UI design skills with a portfolio demonstrating user-centered design.
  • Understanding of web analytics, conversion optimization, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a mission-driven environment.


Organizational and Spiritual Requirements:

  • Demonstrate Christ-centered behavior at all times by treating people with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity.
  • Utilize the principles of Matthew 18 and Ephesians 4:15 to resolve differences of opinion with others.
  • Successful completion of a thorough pre-employment references and background checks, which includes: social security verification, Local, State & Federal criminal conviction records search, national security database, and sex offender registry.
  • Attendance at all mandatory meetings and events. This includes serving at Good Friday, Easter and Christmas services as well as the annual volunteer appreciation event.
  • Member of the Rock Church (or willing to transfer membership to the Rock Church).
  • Regular involvement in Rock Church activities, ministries and events.
  • Tithe 10% to the Rock Church.
  • Signed acknowledgment of the Rock’s Statement of Faith.
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to the Rock’s policies, procedures and employee handbook.
  • Be self-motivated and goal oriented, use good judgment, and be flexible and innovative.
  • Professional attitude and demeanor.

Physical Requirements:
