Digital Innovation Engineer

Role Overview Explore, test, and implement artificial intelligence solutions that make INNOVO MEP smarter — from how we win work to how we manage it. This is an R&D-first role: you spend time understanding a problem, evaluating whether AI can solve it, and then leading the implementation when it can.

Key Responsibilities

· Automating document-heavy workflows in tendering, estimation, and commercial management using AI

· Applying AI to contract analysis, risk identification, and correspondence management

· Building intelligence into project controls — schedule analysis, cost forecasting, and performance reporting

· Exploring AI applications in workforce productivity, manpower analytics, and benchmarking

· Researching AI use cases in site safety monitoring and HSE compliance reporting

WHAT YOU WILL DO

· Research and evaluate AI tools and models relevant to MEP construction challenges

· Design and run structured pilots with defined success criteria — document findings and make clear recommendations

· Lead implementation of adopted solutions, including integration with existing systems and workflows

· Develop training materials and support teams through change

· Stay current on AI developments in the AEC industry and bring relevant ideas to the team

Required Skills

· MEP engineering graduate — Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline

· 3–6 years of experience

· Genuine curiosity about AI, data, and their application in engineering and construction

· Ability to break down complex workflows and identify where AI adds real value

· Clear communicator — able to explain AI outputs to non-technical stakeholders

· Familiarity with digital tools such as:

Building Information Modeling (BIM)

GitHub, .Net, SQL, React

Project management platforms (Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera, etc.)

Data analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, Tableau)

Collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Teams)

· Experience in digital transformation, construction technology or innovation-related roles.
