Job Description

The Ford Agency is currently seeking a motivated and team oriented digital learning professional to join a successful and growing academia focused association. This role will lead in the creation of digital programming and initiatives to enrich member partnerships. The successful candidate will have a strong background in higher education and expertise in programming, funding, and curriculum content strategy. Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop programs to enable higher education institutions to leverage technology to stay up to date with current trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporations and other donors who are interested in sponsoring technology focused events
  • Develop curriculum and content for events, and serve as a facilitator, presenter, or content expert as needed
  • Identify and secure external funding and grants to support program initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute short-term and long-term goals
  • Coordinate with internal teams on logistics for events
Qualifications Include:
  • Master's or advanced degree in education, learning technologies, or similar field
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in higher education, including campus leadership and executing national conferences/events
  • Ability to secure external funding for projects that include curriculum, assessment, and/or technology components
  • Knowledge of teaching and learning with technology in academic environments
  • Expertise and/or interest in AI
  • Ability to work with faculty and staff across disciplines and institutions
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
