Job Purposes:

Lead the creation of engaging digital interpretation, visitor experiences, and learning resources across onsite, offsite, and online platforms.

Identify, pilot, and implement innovative learning technologies to enhance accessibility, inclusion, and audience engagement.

Collaborate across departments to embed digital learning into public programs, school initiatives, exhibitions, and events.
Responsibilities:

Drive creativity, innovation, and inclusivity in all digital learning initiatives.

Lead digital content development across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with departmental plans and KPIs.

Manage the Digital Learning team, including recruitment, project assignment, performance management, and professional development.

Oversee budgets, contracts, tenders, and procurement for digital projects.

Collaborate with curators, educators, designers, and external partners to create inclusive, accessible, and experimental digital experiences.

Use analytics to evaluate and enhance audience engagement and reach.

Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to colleagues on digital learning processes and content creation.

Lead technical implementation of digital learning solutions, including apps, interactive kiosks, VR/AR/XR experiences, AI tools, digital audio guides, and gamified platforms.

Coordinate with IT, AV, and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of digital tools and platforms.

Ensure digital infrastructure is scalable, user-friendly, and supports cross-platform learning experiences.

Maintain quality control over digital outputs, ensuring accessibility for People of Determination and other underrepresented audiences.

Monitor emerging digital technologies and recommend adoption to enhance visitor engagement and museum learning initiatives.
Required Experience:
-
Minimum of 5+ years in a cultural institution with at least 2 years in developing digital learning products and strategies.

Minimum 3+ years’ experience creating inclusive interpretive content across digital and print formats.

Proven experience managing projects, budgets, tenders, and contracts.

Knowledge of digital platforms, audience engagement, and accessibility.

Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:

Background in museums, cultural institutions, or creative industries (e.g., broadcasting, gaming, interactivity, digital design).

Experience developing digital content for underrepresented audiences, including People of Determination.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Education, History, Cultural Studies, Museum Studies, or creative industries; Master’s preferred.
