Digital Maintenance Application Management and Support Engineer

The Digital Maintenance Application Management and Support Engineer, is responsible for the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of digital maintenance solutions across global operations. You will act as a key interface between global operations business department, maintenance teams, IT, and solution providers, ensuring that digital tools are effectively deployed, maintained, and optimized to support reactive, preventive, predictive, condition-based, and data-driven maintenance strategies.

1. Application Management

• Administer and maintain our digital maintenance platform
• Ensure system availability, performance, and data integrity
• Coordinate updates, patches, and system enhancements with vendors

2. Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide support for digital maintenance applications
• Troubleshoot issues related to data flows, interfaces, and user experience
• Collaborate with IT and external providers to resolve incidents and implement fixes
• Document solutions and create knowledge articles

3. Integration & Data Management

• Support integration of maintenance systems with ERP, MES, IoT, and cloud hosted self-developed low-code applications

Educational qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
• Fluent in English; German is a plus

Relevant experience

• Experience with maintenance systems (e.g., SAP PM, IBM Maximo, Infor EAM)
• Hands on experience with Windows Server, Azure, SQL Server
• Know how in testing automation and QA is desirable
• Familiarity with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Paledo as a digital maintenance system is highly beneficial
