Seeking Experienced Digital Marketing Assistant

Location: Rancho Mirage, CA (Hybrid: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

W2 Position

25-40 hours/week

Rate: $20-$30/hour DOE

At Indigo Marketing Agency, we don’t just “do marketing, rather, we build brands that stand out. We are looking for a high-energy, high-initiative Marketing Assistant to join our Palm Springs team. This isn’t a “grab the coffee” kind of internship; it’s a “get your hands dirty” role where you’ll be trained to become a powerhouse asset for our agency.

We don’t care if your experience comes from a high-end firm or from running your family’s business social media: we care about drive, creativity, and the “itch” to create.

What Does a Digital Marketing Assistant do?

• Be a Creative Chameleon: Jump into photography, writing, video editing, or ad management wherever the team needs you.
• Master AI Tools: Lean into the future. You’ll use AI to streamline workflows, spark creative ideas, and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Execute Campaigns: Help take projects from “cool idea” to “live on the web.”
  
  

What We’re Looking For?

• The “Initiative” Factor: You’ve started something on your own. Maybe it’s a YouTube channel, a photography side-hustle, a blog, or you helped grow a local business. Show us your “thing.”
• Educational Background: A college degree is required. We have a soft spot for College of the Desert (Technical/Design) or UC Riverside (Palm Desert) alumni.
• Creative Portfolio: Whether it’s writing samples, a design portfolio, or a reel of videos you’ve edited, we want to see what you’re proud of.
• AI Enthusiast: You aren’t afraid of ChatGPT or Midjourney; you’re already figuring out how they can make you 10x more productive.
• Local Resident: You must live in the Coachella Valley (specifically between Palm Springs and Indio). We want someone who is part of the local community and can easily make it to the office 3x a week.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Design, Journalism, or related preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A “no task too small” attitude and a hunger to learn.
• Must be based full-time in the Coachella Valley area.
