Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant specializing in the hospitality industry. This role involves supporting the development and execution of digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and increase bookings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO, social media marketing, content creation, and analytics tools. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels including social media, email, SEM, and display advertising.
  • Manage and optimize content on websites using WordPress and content management systems, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices.
  • Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO tools to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
  • Create engaging content including copywriting, graphic design, and multimedia assets using Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and other design tools.
  • Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and other analytics platforms; analyze data to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Support conversion optimization efforts by analyzing user behavior and implementing improvements to increase engagement and bookings.
  • Coordinate with the team on marketing automation initiatives to streamline campaigns and nurture leads effectively.
  • Manage social media accounts through social media management tools; develop content calendars and engage with followers to foster community growth.
  • Assist in executing B2B marketing strategies within the hospitality industry to attract corporate clients and partners.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices relevant to hospitality marketing.

Experience

  • Proven experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Google AdWords), Facebook Advertising, and performance marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL is preferred for website management and optimization tasks.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite for content creation and graphic design projects.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics for tracking campaign performance metrics.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or HubSpot is a plus.
  • Knowledge of content creation strategies including copywriting for digital channels.
  • Understanding of social media management platforms such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Background in digital marketing within the hospitality or e-commerce sectors is highly desirable. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to apply their digital marketing expertise in a vibrant hospitality environment while gaining valuable industry experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
