About Us

Honor Yoga Pennington is a community-focused yoga studio dedicated to accessible, authentic yoga and personal transformation. The Honor Yoga Foundation, our nonprofit division, expands this work through healing retreats, outreach programs, and community wellness initiatives.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator who is mission-driven, organized, creative, and excited about wellness, yoga, and personal growth. You do not need to be an experienced yogi, but you should feel aligned with mindful living, be comfortable in a yoga studio environment, and be interested in attending occasional classes or retreats as part of your growth and connection to the community.

This is a part-time salaried position with a clear pathway to grow into a full-time Digital Marketing Manager role after one year of strong performance.

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, creation, and execution of all marketing initiatives for both Honor Yoga Pennington and the Honor Yoga Foundation. This is an execution-focused role ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants hands-on creative experience, autonomy, and meaningful mission-driven work.

You will collaborate with leadership, teachers, and volunteers to build brand presence, grow class attendance, support retreat enrollment, and strengthen community engagement across digital platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Marketing and Lead Generation

• Execute digital marketing campaigns that drive leads, class attendance, and retreat applications
• Build and maintain marketing automation flows for new clients, leads, trials, and follow-ups
• Track key performance metrics and provide weekly reports
• Support list segmentation and database management

Social Media and Content Creation

• Create content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
• Design graphics using Canva
• Edit or repurpose short-form video content
• Write clear, engaging copy for posts, ads, emails, and promotions

Website, Email, and Analytics

• Update and maintain website pages and landing pages
• Assist with basic SEO and user experience improvements
• Build and schedule email campaigns
• Monitor analytics and recommend improvements

Team Collaboration and Volunteer Coordination

• Coordinate with teachers, staff, and volunteers to support marketing initiatives
• Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed
• Support teachers in marketing their classes and programs

Mission and Culture Alignment

• Represent the Honor Yoga brand with authenticity, warmth, and professionalism
• Show genuine interest in yoga, wellness, mindfulness, and personal development
• Participate in occasional classes or retreats to stay connected to the community experience

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation
• Proficiency with Canva
• Experience managing social media for organizations or brands
• Basic website editing experience (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or similar)
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to coordinate volunteers or team contributors

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in yoga, wellness, or mindful living
• Ability to commute to Pennington, NJ for in-studio content and meetings
• Comfort being in a yoga studio environment
• Desire to attend classes or retreats as part of personal and professional growth

(Commuting distance is preferred but not required.)

Commitment and Growth Opportunity

• One-year minimum commitment required
• Eligible to grow into a full-time Digital Marketing Manager role after one year of strong performance
• Bonus structure available based on measurable results

Compensation

• $400 per week part-time salary
• Performance bonuses available
• Growth track to full-time position
