Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator plays an essential role in driving growth through assisting the Marketing department and our partner brands, with a focus on digital marketing support and coordination.


Essential Functions:

  • Assists with maintaining content calendars for digital channels, industry observances, campaigns, etc.
  • Coordinates communications and distribution of marketing assets to support alignment across partner brands and the internal marketing team.
  • Assists with triaging and managing incoming departmental requests via channels including the team inbox and project management software Jira.
  • Regularly audits and ensures up-to-date company/office information is listed on applicable industry directories, service search aggregators (i.e. National Hospice Locator), etc.
  • Provides administrative support for internal and external partner marketing initiatives and events.
  • Assists with scheduling department meetings and internal partner meetings as assigned.
  • Supports the marketing team’s setup, administration, and ongoing content management for brand & local social media profiles.
  • Collaborates with local partner offices to obtain marketing content primarily for digital use; ensures adherence to internal policies on use of likeness, appropriate language, etc.
  • Assists with monitoring and managing incoming inquiries via social media, website, or other digital channels as assigned; ensures timely follow-up using approved brand messaging.
  • Assists with maintaining ecosystem business profiles and a library of online reviews/testimonials for partner brands to support ongoing reputation management.
  • Supports social & digital brand awareness by assisting with the development, formatting, and posting of relevant content on digital assets including articles, infographics, and maintaining accurate contact information on websites for partner brands using Wordpress.
  • Provides administrative support for the ecosystem’s charitable Foundation growth initiatives.
  • Assists with preparing marketing KPI reports for ecosystem brands as assigned.
  • Manages monthly departmental and partner marketing expense coding to ensure budget accuracy.
  • Assists with internal/office-wide communications and events to support Empower’s leadership team.
  • Consistently completes assignments with high attention to detail and brand standards.
  • Maintains productive, professional working relationships with internal departments and external partners.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Conforms to all applicable Agency policies and procedures.
  • Participates actively in continuing education and in-services.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient information and business trade practices


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Industry experience in consulting, employer services, HR, or healthcare a plus.
  • Experience with CRM/online database systems and marketing automation systems a plus. (such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics/Pardot, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.); experience with WordPress strongly preferred.
  • Social media content and management experience.
  • Graphic design experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Above-average proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written (including grammar) and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively understand different brand identities, collaborate, and receive feedback on deliverables.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and organizational skills, and thrives on working on a variety of brands, projects, and timelines day-to-day.
  • Ability to work within all levels of the organization

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising or public relations

  • Experience:

1 year applicable experience

  • License / Certification:

Driver’s license and proof of current auto liability insurance; no listing in the OIG Excluded Provider listing


Environmental Conditions:

Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to work flexible schedule, ability to travel; some exposure to unpleasant weather. Moderate noise level; tasks may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens; moderate stress and emotional demands.


Physical Requirements:
Sitting is required. Requires ability to always handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs. Ability to travel both via car or plane.
