Digital Marketing Coordinator

Geotex Engineering is a growing geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing firm serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. We are seeking an entry-level Digital Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing and business development efforts across digital platforms and events.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will assist in developing and executing digital content across LinkedIn, email marketing campaigns, website updates, and internal communications platforms. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career marketing professional who enjoys storytelling, visual content creation, and working in a collaborative, professional services environment. You will work closely with marketing, business development, and branch leadership to highlight projects, people, culture, and expertise across North Texas and the DFW market.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support growth of brand visibility across key target markets
• Draft engaging captions and coordinate supporting graphics or project imagery
• Monitor engagement and assist with basic performance reporting
• Create and schedule Linked In content aligned with company initiatives, projects, awards, recruiting, and culture highlights
• Assist with email campaign setup and formatting (Mailchimp or similar platform)
• Update website content (Word Press-based), including project pages, team bios, news posts, and landing pages; and assist with SEO-related updates (headings, metadata, keyword placement)
• Collect and coordinate project and event photography from branch teams
• Create basic graphics for Linkedln, email campaigns, flyers, event materials, and internal communications
• Assist with preparation of marketing materials for industry events, conferences, and client meetings
• Support marketing and business development events when needed (logistics, setup materials, post-event follow-up content)
• Assist with Share Point (Geotex Connect) updates and announcements
• Other tasks as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Ability to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.)
• Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or relevant experience)
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional social media platforms
• Basic graphic design experience and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Word Press experience
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp preferred)
• Basic understanding of SEO principles
• Strong attention to detail, organized, and deadline-oriented
• Comfortable working with technical subject matter
• Professional communication style
• Ability to take initiative and follow through
• Collaborative and responsive
• Willingness to learn in a growing, team-oriented environment
