We are hiring a Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager to be the public voice of our client. You will own how installers, EPCs, and solar lenders find, perceive, and buy from our client — across Google, AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot), social media, email, webinars, and our Shopify webstore. You will turn service quality into measurable inbound demand and webstore revenue, and build a paid co-marketing engine that gets our manufacturers to fund placement on our channels.

Responsiblites:
Search Visibility (SEO + AI Search / AEO)
- Own our client’s organic visibility for terms like “wholesale solar distributor,” “solar panels for installers,” “solar inverter distributor,” and regional variations.
- Optimize the site, product pages, and content so the client is cited when installers ask AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot) about solar distribution, brands, lead times, or pricing.
- Run technical SEO: site speed, schema (Product, Organization, FAQ, LocalBusiness), internal linking, sitemaps, Search Console hygiene.
- Build topical authority through blog posts, buyer guides, spec sheets, comparison pages, and FAQ hubs.
Shopify Webstore Growth
- Own the Shopify store as a revenue channel: merchandising, collection design, PDPs, search, filters, checkout, and conversion rate optimization.
- Recommend and implement Shopify apps, themes, and integrations that improve speed, UX, and B2B buying (e.g., quoting, NET terms, tiered pricing, RFQ flows).
- Partner with operations to keep product data, imagery, pricing, and inventory accurate and on-brand.
- Run on-site experiments (A/B tests, banners, exit intent, abandoned cart, post-purchase) and report measurable lift.
Social Media & Content
- Own our client's presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels relevant to installers and lenders.
- Build and execute a monthly content calendar: product highlights, jobsite stories, manufacturer spotlights, team culture, industry news, regulatory updates (IEEPA, ITC, Safe Harbor).
- Produce or direct graphics, short-form video, reels, and carousels with a clean, professional design eye.
- Engage with the installer community — comments, DMs, partner tags, industry conversations.
Lead Generation (Inbound + Outbound)
- Drive qualified inbound leads from organic search, paid search, social, email, and referral channels.
- Build outbound campaigns to installers and lending organizations using email, LinkedIn, and targeted ads.
- Stand up and maintain landing pages, lead magnets (buyer guides, calculators, datasheets), and forms feeding into Zoho CRM.
- Track lead source, MQL → SQL conversion, and pipeline contribution; report weekly to the CEO.
Manufacturer Co-Marketing (Get Paid to Promote)
- Build a productized co-marketing program: paid placements on sunrgy.com, social posts, email blasts, and webinars sponsored by our module, inverter, racking, and storage manufacturers.
- Create a media kit with audience metrics, deliverables, and rate card.
- Pitch and close manufacturer partners; manage execution, reporting, and renewal.
Email Marketing
- Own the email program: weekly product/inventory blasts, manufacturer-sponsored sends, lifecycle automations, abandoned cart, win-back, and webinar invites.
- Maintain list hygiene, segmentation, deliverability, and compliance (CAN-SPAM, unsubscribe).
Webinars & Live Events
- Plan, promote, host, and produce webinars (product training, manufacturer spotlights, regulatory/tariff updates).
- Manage registration, reminders, live production, recording, and post-event nurture.
Reporting & Accountability
- Own a single marketing dashboard: traffic, rankings, AI mentions, social growth, email performance, webstore revenue, leads generated, sponsorship revenue, ROI.
- Report KPIs weekly to the CEO with clear wins, misses, and next actions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in digital marketing, e-commerce, or growth marketing — ideally B2B.
- Hands-on experience running and optimizing a Shopify store (themes, apps, collections, checkout, analytics).
- Demonstrated SEO results: rankings improved, organic traffic grown, technical SEO executed.
- Working knowledge of AI search optimization (AEO/GEO) — how content shows up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and Meta Ads.
- Strong copywriting and visual design judgment — able to brief or self-produce social graphics, ads, and landing pages (Canva, Figma, or Adobe).
- Email marketing platform experience (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
- CRM experience — Zoho CRM preferred; HubSpot or Salesforce acceptable.
- Webinar production experience (Zoom Webinars, GoToWebinar, RingCentral, or similar).
- Excellent written and spoken English; clear, professional communicator.
- High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership — finishes what they start without being chased.
- Available during U.S. Central Time business hours.
