Digital Marketing Faculty — Job Description Job Summary
As a Digital Marketing Faculty, you’ll be responsible for teaching, coaching, and mentoring students in digital marketing concepts and skills. You’ll help learners understand both theory and real-world application of digital marketing tools, platforms, and strategies, and prepare them for careers or certifications in the digital space.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom or online lectures covering core digital marketing modules such as:
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
- SEM (Search Engine Marketing) & Google Ads
- Social Media Marketing (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Content Marketing and Blogging
- Email Marketing
- Analytics and Reporting (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Strategy and campaign planning.
- Develop/upate course materials including lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and case studies.
- Guide students on practical projects and live campaigns to build hands-on experience.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and project assessments, and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor learners for placements or certification exams such as Google, Meta, HubSpot, etc.
- Stay updated with current trends, tools, and best practices in digital marketing and integrate them into training.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to improve curriculum and training quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in digital marketing roles (agency, corporate, or teaching). Often 2+ years preferred.
- Professional certifications in digital marketing tools/platforms (e.g., Google, Meta, HubSpot) are an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively explain concepts to learners.
- Comfortable working with digital tools such as Google Analytics, social media dashboards, SEO tools, email marketing platforms, etc.
Preferred Experience
- Prior teaching or training experience in digital marketing or related subjects.
- Experience managing live campaigns and real-world projects.
- Ability to design and evaluate practical assignments that simulate industry scenarios.
