The Role
This is a unique hybrid internship designed for a dynamic individual who is passionate about both people and digital storytelling. You will dedicate approximately 70% of your time to digital marketing initiatives and 30% to human resources tasks.
The ideal candidate is an extroverted, confident, and creative individual who is not afraid to be in front of and behind the camera. A major part of this role will involve creating engaging video content by interacting with the public in high-traffic areas like malls and streets to grow our social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing (70%)
- On-the-Ground Content Creation: Conceptualize, plan, and execute "vox pop" style videos, street interviews, and public challenges.
- Video Production: Confidently approach and interview members of the public in malls, on streets, and at events to create authentic and engaging short-form video content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
- Video Editing: Perform basic editing on raw footage to create compelling, shareable videos (adding captions, music, and basic graphics).
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing our social media profiles, scheduling posts, and actively engaging with our community through comments and messages.
- Content Strategy: Contribute fresh ideas for our content calendar and research trending topics, sounds, and formats.
- Performance Analytics: Help track and analyze key metrics (views, engagement rate, follower growth) to understand what resonates with our audience.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Optimize content for search engines to increase visibility and drive organic traffic to our videos and social media channels.
Human Resources (30%)
- Recruitment Support: Assist in sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for various open positions.
- Candidate Communication: Act as a point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Onboarding: Help prepare onboarding materials and coordinate orientation sessions for new hires.
- Employee Engagement: Support the planning and execution of internal team-building activities, events, and cultural initiatives.
- HR Administration: Assist with maintaining employee records and other day-to-day administrative HR tasks.
Who We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or a recent graduate in Digital Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Exceptional confidence and an outgoing personality. You must be completely comfortable approaching and talking to strangers.
- No camera shyness. You are enthusiastic about being the face of our channel for on-street content.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A natural storyteller with a creative mindset.
- Active and savvy user of social media platforms, especially Instagram, YouTube, and/or TikTok.
Preferred Qualifications (A huge plus!):
- Proven experience creating video content (personal projects, college assignments, or previous internships). A portfolio or link to your social media channels is highly encouraged.
- Basic video editing skills using apps like CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar.
- Basic understanding of HR functions, particularly recruitment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
