Digital Marketing Intern supports the marketing team by assisting with content creation, campaign execution, and performance analysis across digital channels. The intern will get hands-on exposure to social media. They work under supervision, learn best practices, and contribute to initiatives that help grow the brand/organization online.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with developing, planning, and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat).
- Create engaging content (text, graphics, video) for blogs, social media platforms, websites.
- Help maintain a content calendar and schedule posts.
- Monitor competitors and industry trends; research new digital marketing tools/strategies.
- Support with basic graphic/social media asset creation (maybe using tools like Canva, Adobe, etc.).
- Support engagement and community management (responding to comments/posts, helping with outreach/influencer relationships).
- Assist in improving or maintaining website content, possibly minor CMS updates.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset: ability to ideate content, visuals, messaging.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook).
- Basic understanding of content marketing.
- Basic design skills (even informal) and/or ability to use design tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and an eagerness to learn.
