Kelly Wearstler is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong eye for detail, a deep understanding of architectural visualization, and proficiency in high-end hospitality, commercial, and residential design. This position reports to a Senior Designer or Director and collaborates closely with architects, interior designers, and FF&E specialists to bring concepts to life through advanced 3D visualization and detailed design documentation.
- Assist in design development, construction documentation, and coordination with consultants and contractors.
- Develop and refine 3D models, materials, lighting, and compositions to produce compelling imagery for presentations and client approvals.
- Create high-quality, photorealistic visualizations that accurately represent the design vision for luxury hospitality, commercial, and residential projects.
- Support the team in producing detailed CAD/Revit drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Work closely with designers to translate conceptual sketches into fully developed 3D renderings and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with FF&E teams to ensure materiality, finishes, and furnishings are accurately represented in digital models.
- Maintain quality control in visualization outputs, ensuring consistency with project standards and branding guidelines.
- Stay up to date with emerging visualization tools and rendering technologies to continuously improve workflow and output.
- Keen interest in advancing AI tools and their applications to interior design.
- 5+ years of experience in architectural visualization or design with a background in interior design or architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and rendering software (V-Ray, Enscape, or similar).
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and lighting to achieve photorealistic renderings.
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.
- Experience in construction administration and working on projects through all design phases is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams.
- Passion for high-end, luxury design and an ability to translate sophisticated aesthetics into detailed visualization work.
