Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager develops and executes marketing strategies for Carhartt’s direct-to-consumer business units (Carhartt.com, owned retail, D2B, Recommerce). Leading paid media and SEO channels, this role will work collaboratively to implement seamless and impactful consumer journeys that drive measurable results against defined business goals.

Associate Responsibilities
  • Create and execute data-driven digital strategies for e-commerce and retail to drive revenue, traffic, and conversion. Set clear KPIs and ensure campaigns align with business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing digital marketing team of SEO, paid media (social, search, affiliates), and media agency leads, optimizing performance and ROI while maintaining brand alignment.
  • Partner with brand marketing, merchandising, UX, and creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns and align priorities.
  • Stay ahead of trends and audience insights. Test new tools, channels, and tactics to drive innovation and foster continuous learning. Build relationships with advertising partners, leveraging joint business plans (JBPs) to capitalize on emerging digital opportunities.
  • Work with analytics and planning teams to track metrics, optimize campaigns, and refine strategies using actionable insights.
  • Manage budgets, invoicing, and reconciliation to ensure profitability and alignment with financial projections.
  • Refine strategies to enhance the customer journey, delivering personalized and impactful digital experiences.
  • Provide clear, consistent updates on strategy, performance, and opportunities to ensure alignment and transparency, leading and/or participating in various planning and reporting forums.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years in digital marketing for a product-focused, e-commerce, and retail-driven company, including:
  • 3+ years of team management.
  • Proficiency with analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe) and media platforms, using data to measure performance and drive improvements.
  • Proven ability to present performance insights and actionable opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional digital marketing programs.
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders and achieve results in a matrixed organization.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, multi-tasking environments with a positive attitude and flexibility to manage change.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workloads.
  • Ability to pivot between seasonal and day-to-day projects, managing multiple timelines and rotations effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in team management and strategic planning with a consumer-first mindset.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, Word, and related tools.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Office Environment
  • Sedentary; lifts up to 10 lbs. involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • Office equipment used: such as computer, copier, projector, phone, etc.
  • Light Travel; up to 10%
  • This position has a Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
