Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to aid digital marketing managers and learn best practices of being involved in an automotive marketing agency. In this role, you will learn and enhance your knowledge on managing paid search and paid social media campaigns (Google, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, etc.) The ideal candidate should be analytical with a strong attention to detail, and feel comfortable working with numbers.
Your primary objectives will be learning best practices and assisting managers in ensuring LifeCycle DM’s paid campaign marketing strategies provide the highest possible client ROI, and can measure direct client sales attribution along the purchasing funnel.
*Responsibilities (experience preferred)
- Participate in forming effective paid campaign strategies - automotive experience preferred
- Launch and optimize various client campaigns
- Monitor all assigned clients daily on search platforms based on client budgets and delivery expectations (ex Google AdWords, Bing)
- Be involved in keyword, negative keyword selection and audience targeting
- Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI
- Setup, standardize, and track client KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint underperformance
- Produce internal reports to optimize client performance (ex. Dashboards)
- Write appropriate, attractive, and unique ad copies for clients
- Work with data specialist on developing and testing software campaigns (ex. Dynamic ads, campaign automation, etc.)
- Suggest and develop new campaigns across multiple channels
Recommended Background
- Experience in paid advertising (preferred)
- Interest in data analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing concepts
- Familiarity with multiple platforms (e.g. AdWords, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook) is preferred
- Interest in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, WebTrends etc.)
- Understanding of HTML and XML is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical thinking with strong math skills
- Pursuing a BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field (preferred)
- Google Ads certification is a plus
