Lancaster FC is seeking a creative, data driven, and growth oriented Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives, both digital and in person, as well as oversee social media strategy and website management across multiple channels and platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, high impact sports environment and is passionate about driving visibility, engagement, and lead generation through compelling, multi-channel content.
You will work across both brands, Lancaster FC and Manheim Township Soccer Club and will play a key role in growing our presence in the PA market. As the marketing department expands, this role has the potential to evolve into a leadership position managing additional staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital advertising across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube
- Manage and grow our organic social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn
- Develop and execute creative campaigns to increase brand visibility, event attendance, and program registration
- Design and test messaging and creatives through A/B testing and performance analysis
- Capture and edit photos and videos for use in marketing campaigns, social media, and on-site promotions
- Manage all aspects of video editing for social, promotional, and storytelling content
- Create and maintain a content calendar, including campaign timelines and publishing schedules
- Collaborate with coaches, directors, and admin teams to ensure timely promotion of key events, tryouts, camps, and club news
- Maintain and improve email marketing campaigns (Wix Marketing or similar)
- Update and manage website content (via Wix, WordPress; familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred)
- Track and report on key performance indicators including leads, conversion rates, CPC, CTR, and social engagement
- Coordinate with outside vendors, freelancers, and creative contributors as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or social media management, including paid advertising, SEO, email campaigns, and content creation
- 1 to 2 years of hands on paid search and social campaign management (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
- Strong copywriting, photography, and visual storytelling skills
- Experience with video shooting and editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Data driven mindset with the ability to analyze and act on campaign performance
- Proficiency with platforms and tools including Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Canva, Hootsuite, Wix, and the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Bonus: Experience working with sports brands, youth programs, or sports facilities
- Highly organized, self starting, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Must be based in Lancaster or willing to work in person at our Lancaster office
