About the Role


The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in shaping and advancing the Mandel JCC’s digital presence across our website, email, and paid media channels. Every day, the JCC touches many lives in meaningful ways, and through your work, you will help bring our mission to life online by sharing the stories that make us unique, building meaningful connections, and enhancing our impact.

This position offers the opportunity to manage the execution of digital campaigns that support multiple business units and engage diverse audiences. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will run the email marketing platform and carry out paid search and social media campaigns, ensuring all efforts align with our marketing strategy and goals.

You will also maintain and update the Mandel JCC website, managing content updates, analyzing performance metrics, and integrating Salesforce forms. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative marketing team, working closely with the Senior Director and colleagues to coordinate campaigns and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

This contractor role offers the potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance and organizational needs.

Mandel JCC Expections

  • Support the Mission and vision of the Mandel JCC and the marketing team.
  • Ensure the highest quality of marketing programs and services and possess a working knowledge of the organization’s programs and services.
  • Professionally represent the organization and provide the highest quality of customer service to the individuals and groups with whom you come into contact.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and update the Mandel JCC website via CMS, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and improved user experience.
  • Track and analyze website performance using Google Analytics and other tools; report on trends and recommend optimizations.
  • Assist with integration of Salesforce forms and other tools into web pages and campaigns; manage tracking and performance.
  • Build and manage email marketing campaigns through Campaign Monitor.
  • Build and maintain an email marketing calendar to ensure timely, coordinated campaigns aligned with organizational priorities and key dates.
  • Coordinate email, web, and paid campaign planning using the key dates calendar, collaborating with the marketing team to ensure that important events are tracked and campaigns are aligned with all other initiatives.
  • Write clear and engaging copy for email, web, and paid media campaigns; adapt tone and messaging to fit different digital platforms and audiences.
  • Manage the execution of all paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn, etc.); monitor budgets, help optimize results, and report analytics.
  • Analyze and report on performance across email, website, organic, and all paid media campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Facebook and Instagram Insights, and other analytics platforms. Present reports regularly to the Senior Director.
  • Use Monday.com to support coordination of the creative process by monitoring creative team workflow, tracking timelines, and helping maintain accountability. Collaborate with the Senior Director to ensure efficient task distribution and timely production of relevant creative assets for marketing campaigns.
  • Make informed decisions to address issues, prioritize requests, and maintain momentum across digital projects.
  • Be available to respond outside of regular hours for urgent website or campaign updates, as needed.

Ideal Candidate – Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital communications, or related field.
  • Three years of experience in digital marketing or a related role.
  • Experience managing websites and comfortable working with CMS platforms; basic HTML knowledge recommended.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid campaigns using native platforms including Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager. LinkedIn Campaign Manager is a plus.
  • Comfortable setting up campaigns, managing budgets and audiences, optimizing performance, and interpreting key metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, ROI, etc.
  • Experience with Campaign Monitor or similar email marketing software, including A/B testing.
  • Understanding of CRM practices, including segmentation, list management and targeting strategies across platforms.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and other performance tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management software.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and ensuring team accountability.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, with demonstrated experience creating marketing content for web, email, and paid advertising.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • On-site work required at the Mandel JCC in Beachwood, OH.
